Camagüey, Cuba, Jul 13.- The system of culture houses in the Ciudad de los Tinajones together with the brigade of art instructors and the movement of amateur artists have a wide program of activities designed for the enjoyment of the summer by children, adolescents and youth.
Alexander de la Torres Gómez, director of the provincial system of Culture Houses, in a press conference, explained that his 30 institutions convoke the little ones at home to participate throughout the month of July in plastic arts, dance, and music workshops.
De la Torres Gómez informed that the tenth edition of the Bailando en Cuba Festival will take place from the 19th to the 23rd in the municipality of Nuevitas, convened by the Aires de Bahía dance company.
Three couples from the Camagüey municipality, one from Sierra de Cubitas and another from the province of Santiago de Cuba will participate in this new installment.
The event has among its objectives to promote the traditional dances of the island.
