Camagüey, Cuba, January 12th.- Georgina Colina Prieto, deputy general director who handles Methodological Work in the Municipal Directorate of Education, commented that the third process of improving the educational system is progressing in the territory.
In statements to this medium, she specified that action is being taken in the characterization of the teaching force involved and in training on the most recent resolutions approved in the country with an impact on the sector.
Completing teaching coverage is today a pending issue in the district, but through alternatives such as the reinstatement of teachers and pedagogical contingents, the need is met, with secondary and technical education being the ones with the greatest problems in this regard.
Colina Prieto emphasized that methodological work with contracts should be promoted in schools as they are the ones who most need to master the different provisions and changes generated as part of the improvement.
He also invited to generalize the investigations resubstantiates of degree works that respond to the problems of the sector in the capital of Camagüey, since today science has many of the solutions that a teaching process tempered to the characteristics of contemporary times demands.
