Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 12th.- The Restoration and Conservation Company of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey undertakes several tasks in greeting to the 510th anniversary of the founding of the former town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe.

Rodolfo Yadró Pérez, director of the entity, said that important tasks have already been completed, among which are the San Juan de Dios and El Carmen squares, in addition to a large number of houses, the pharmacy and the banks on República Street.

At this time, efforts are directed toward the completion of the Las Cubanitas park, adjacent to the El Coppelia unit, and other homes located in high buildings on the main artery of the capital of Camagüey.

On the 15th, the Restoration and Conservation Company will celebrate its 25th anniversary, a date they hope to reach with the completion of several of these works.
