Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 5th.- With the commitment to continue faithful to the legacy of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, the Camagüey builders remembered this day the 51st anniversary of the first celebration of Builder’s Day.

Based at the Construction and Assembly Company No.2 of Camagüey and in the presence of Federico Hernández Hernández, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC, Spanish Acronym) and first secretary in the province, and Governor Jorge Enrique Sutil Sarabia, in addition to other authorities, a group of construction centers and outstanding workers were recognized.

During the event, eight workers with more than 20 and 25 years of uninterrupted work in the construction sector, with high and sustained results, received the Armando Mestre Medal.

Likewise, the Provincial Construction Union recognized the Construction and Assembly Company No.1 of Camagüey for its contribution to the recovery of raw materials under the slogan Cuban Hydraulic Builders taking care of the planet.

Roberto Conde Silverio, member of the Provincial Bureau of the PCC, recognized the outstanding entities of the stage, among which the companies of Construction and Assembly No.2 of Camagüey and Hydraulic Engineer Services stand out.

On the occasion of the anniversary, the leadership of the PCC and the Government in the territory and the Central Workers of Cuba recognized the sector on behalf of the people.

In the conclusions of the event, Federico Hernández Hernández urged builders to continue building large investments, despite resource limitations, and highlighting the brilliant contribution, value and history of the men in the white helmets.
