Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 5th.- Due to the lack of some essential resources, the Construction Materials and People’s Power Projects Industry Company applies alternatives to move forward.
Aida Regla Antúnez Parrado, director of the entity, said that not having cement, steel and other resources for concrete production strengthened the workshops that work with clay.
Efforts in this regard are currently concentrated in the municipality of Guáimaro and the provincial capital, mainly in the Las Mercedes unit, with great productive capacity.
More than half a million wall elements and sanitary connections were made with endogenous material such as bricks, connections, tubes and floor slabs, vital for housing and social works.
