Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 24th.- About 50 locals of various ages received the diploma of graduates of the courses and diplomas organized in recent months by the Armando Hart Dávalos Honorary Chair.

The Articulation Group for the study of the life and work of the Cuban intellectual and revolutionary, attached to the Nicolás Guillén Study Center of the Camagüey branch of the University of the Arts, has been promoting scientific research in the cultural environment for three years.

Ernestina Hernández, head of the Center, highlighted that it is a founding principle to serve as a free space for debate and reflection, and to generate cultural activism about the legacy of Hart Dávalos.

For her part, Ángela María Benítez, head of the Chair, gave a conference in which she valued the defense of the thought of José Martí and Fidel Castro Ruz carried out by Armando Hart from the various functions he assumed in his revolutionary life.

«He was the protagonist of a creative activity based on the promotion of culture and national thought», commented the researcher from Camagüey.

Topics such as the Panorama of Cuban philosophical thought and the Diploma in Cultural Research Methodology are part of the training program of the Articulation Group, which received recognition from several local institutions in the territory.
