Camagüey, Cuba, November 1st.- Geomining Company of Camagüey at the end of the third quarter of the current year presents 86 percent compliance in mineral exports as its main state order.
To achieve this result, the institution implemented various strategies to counteract the difficulties that led to positive figures not being reached at the beginning of this calendar, said Yusmiel Sánchez Silva, director of Operations.
The company also produces national sales products such as paint, cosmetics, chlorine bleach, scented talcum powder, detergents and hydroalcoholic solution for which, in addition to its own, it uses raw materials obtained from other factories.
Among these, paint is positioned as a leading product due to its quality and high demand among the population; it is also marketed in other territories.
Zeolite is one of the minerals with the highest sales rates in the country due to the application of its derivatives in sectors such as Agriculture, both in animal feed and for use in soil improvement.
Likewise, calcium carbonate is ordered by Geominera, manufactured at the Technical Minerals Plant located in the municipality of Najasa, with which the requested indicators are met.
