Camagüey, Cuba, Jul 26th.- As a fundamental strategy for the consolidation of the socialist construction in Cuba, this central-eastern province prioritizes the attention and development of economic programs.
Such an objective guarantee, in turn, the permanence of the conquests in the social order, and therefore, of the main lines drawn by Fidel after the Moncada events 70 years ago.
The member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC, Spanish Acronym) and first secretary of the political organization in the territory, Federico Hernández Hernández, ratified the importance of promoting the agricultural branch, during the provincial commemoration for July 26th.
In this sense, he pointed out that the most immediate challenge is to comply with the spring campaign, affected by the rainfall last June, and reported the start of the recovery of productive poles in Sierra de Cubitas and Vertientes, in addition to the development areas in the municipalities.

The acquisition of local raw materials to guarantee part of the production of the food industry, the sowing of 60 million fingerlings in aquaculture and the strengthening of the Base Business Units in the commerce, gastronomy and services sector are also matters of maximum interest.
In the same way, work is being done on the recovery of tourism, the growth of its infrastructure, the revival of extra-hotel activity and the increase in the products that are proposed to the client. At the same time, investments such as the one carried out in the Nuevitas Cement Factory and those related to the stability of the water supply to the population are not neglected.
The fundamental areas that comprise the economy of Camagüey require a boost and the transformation of deficiencies that depend on ingenuity, creativity, organization and control, in order to advance in the socialist construction in Cuba.
