Camagüey, Cuba, Jul 19th.- From green to cobblestone is one of the routes for the Summer with love that the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey proposes.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, it invites the local population, especially those who reside in the communities affected by the heavy rains in June, to learn more about the local history and heritage that the fourth Cuban town treasures.
This route of knowledge passes through the Agramonte Park, the Plaza de los Trabajadores, the Railway Museum, the Casino Campestre and as a final point those who attend enjoy varied activities organized with writers and performing artists at the Café Literario La Comarca by the Enrique José Varona Provincial Book and Literature Center.
This Tuesday Evelin Queipo Balbuena presented the text Pasatiempos (Ediciones El Lugareño 2021), authored by her, and shared several verses starring the child character Chusette.
Then the Pirolo Clown made the little ones and their families dance and have fun with magic tricks and other occurrences, an excellent summer option for those who reside or are visiting the birthplace of Cuban literature.
