Camagüey, Cuba, Feb 14th.- The report presented at the balance meeting on the work carried out by the Tínima Brewery collective during the year 2024 was highly debated.

Since being immersed in the negotiation process for the creation of a joint venture and due to the limitations of raw materials to produce its main order on a large scale, other productive fronts were opened.

In this sense, in addition to a level of beer in dispensed and bulk format, work was done on the manufacture of malt soda -to take advantage of imported inputs- and on others such as rum, wines, bottled water and syrup.

In this way, the commitments of the previous calendar were exceeded with the contribution of more than 89 thousand hectoliters of these items and an amount greater than 143 million pesos.

However, Hernán Fernández Cruz, from the Food Industry Business Group, considered that the results could have been greater because there are still reserves to be exploited taking into account the installed capacity of this industry.

For his part, Edel Jaquez Johnson, an official of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, said that more actions must be taken and that we must be more enterprising in order to achieve the productive results that are really needed at the present time.
