Camagüey, Cuba, Feb 10th.- The Municipal Directorate of Labor and Social Security is working on improving the mechanisms for identifying and caring for communities, groups, homes and people in vulnerable situations.
In this sense, there is exchange with the factors of the different neighborhoods of the territory and the actions that respond to the social problems in each place are proposed in the Prevention Group of the popular councils.
The characterization process in the different demarcations of Camagüey currently registers more than 150,500 family units, with a figure of more than 329,600 inhabitants.
Of this total, more than 69 thousand families and people are assisted by social workers, including minors at risk and those in the Victoria Task, mothers with more than three children, pregnant women, those disconnected from study and work, and the disabled.
