Camagüey, Cuba, Jan 26th.- The XXVIII Camagüey Researchers Event will be held from the 3rd to the 5th of next month, with the usual participation of scholars, teachers, specialists, art instructors and cultural promoters on the occasion of the 511th anniversary of the founding of the town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe and the 300th anniversary of San Juan Camagüeyano.
According to the call, which on this occasion has as its central axis The investigation of cultural processes, a multidisciplinary dynamic network from the academy, praxis, reflection and public debates in contemporary societies, the presentation of the works can be done physically or online, in the form of videos of up to ten minutes.
The sub-themes of the meeting are linked to San Juan Camagüeyano, artistic and literary creation, sociocultural and community projects, work experiences, the cultural promoter as an agent of change, methods and strategies, research on traditional popular culture,
Other aspects will be regional and local historical studies, those of historical and cultural heritage and its safeguarding, urban and city planning, social communication, methods and strategies for cultural dissemination, on the environment, and economic, cultural, anthropological, ethnographic, sociological (community, raciality, gender, religiosity, priority programs, etc.) on Camagüey.
All interested parties must send their works in digital and printed format with a length of no less than eight pages and no more than 12, not including annexes and bibliography, in Arial 12 font, 1.5 line spacing, accompanied by an introduction, development, conclusions and scientific contributions.
They must also write a summary of 250 words that will include the topic, the need for the research study and its contributions, the data of the author or authors, the workplace, the telephone number and the email address for their location, the identity card number, the place of origin, the workplace and a telephone number for their location.
