Camagüey, Cuba, Jan 23rd.- With the activation of the Provincial and Municipal Defense Councils, the Bastion 2024 Strategic Exercise began, as planned.
Work was also done to put the Command and Direction Bodies and the personnel of the regular units of the Revolutionary Armed Forces in full combat readiness.
Its president in Camagüey, Federico Hernández Hernández, explained that this training is the country’s supreme form of defense, which endorses the military doctrine of the war of all the people.
He said that all the organizations and entities of the district participate in the training and emphasized the work priorities of the economic, social and political-ideological groups.
