The actions developed during the University Bastion took place under the watchful eye of the highest authorities of the province, of the capital of Camagüey and of the headquarters of the Military Region
Camagüey, Cuba, Jan 22nd.- The University Student Bastion took place with good organization and quality in response to the call to prepare for the defense of the Revolution.
Hundreds of young people who are training at the Ignacio Agramonte University and the University of Medical Sciences participated in the event, who together with their teachers completed several training missions.
In the Instruction Area of the municipality of Camagüey, a combined class was held with the use of war material, which included military topography, use of protection means, engineering, communications and shooting.
In the same scenario, an exercise was also carried out to overcome natural or artificial obstacles by rope projection, advised by officers of the Special Troops Battalion.
