Camagüey, Cuba, Jan 17th.- This 2025 continues the development of the activities characterized by the Railway Museum of the city as part of the cultural programming that the institution proposes each month.
The most recent installment featured the participation of young students from the Vicentina de la Torre art school, a building located in the vicinity of the museum.
They began the day with a guided tour of the facility to learn about the vast history of the railroad, from its arrival to the former town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe based on the avant-garde vision of Gaspar Betancourt Cisneros, El Lugareño.
The activity concluded in the steam area, located outside the museum, where the artists in training completed their knowledge based on information about the technical operation of the locomotives on display there, said María Cristina Portuondo Méndez, director of the institution.
