Camagüey, Cuba, Jan 16th.- This year, the Cuban Post Office is committed to diversifying its services and improving the services of the press, parcels, national and international money orders, and the payment of social security and electricity and telephone bills.

Yoleisys Ramírez Sánchez, general director of the aforementioned entity, made up of almost 70 establishments, more than half of which are intended for direct attention to the population, explained that in the current conditions of the country, alternatives are adopted to generate income.

He detailed other actions such as the printing of documents, to reach customers with more affordable prices, as well as productive linkages with micro, small and medium-sized companies dedicated to sending packages.

Ramírez Sánchez added that they are immersed in negotiations and signing contracts to provide the service of liquefied gas at home, together with the transportation of syrups produced by Pharmacies and Opticians, paint and computer products.

As part of the banking process implemented in the country, for a little over a year, they promote the use of payment gateways through the QR code in the units.

The sale of electronic stamps is among the most requested options, and the extra cash service is also included in all its units, an idea that is planned to be extended to all offices that are computerized, including the territorial capitals.
