Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 18th.- The Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) is developing a broad program of activities to celebrate the day in greeting to Cuban Science Day, to be celebrated on January 15.
With the participation of different institutions, the actions include spaces dedicated to the debate on the circular economy and the provincial event Young Science for Innovation, where the research results of the new generations were socialized.
The course on tools for improving science, technology and innovation projects also took place, as part of the improvement of the sector, in which several initiatives are being worked on.
Among the workshops, the Provincial Workshop on Integration of Science, Technology and Innovation for the commercialization of products will be held at the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Center on January 10.
Likewise, the Pharmacy and Optics Company will host the exchange with other institutions on the implementation of the innovation management system carried out in that entity.
In addition, the workshop Building Together for Participatory Government Management – to be held on January 23 – will enable the participation of all mayors, directors of university centers and municipal directors of local development, as well as territorial policy specialists from CITMA in order to improve government management.
On January 7, the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Ignacio Agramonte will be the setting for the awards ceremony for outstanding scientists from the territory and with a delegation of 28 members Camagüey will be present at the National Innovation Fair, which will take place from the 15th to the 17th of the coming month.
