On the 19th, the Álvaro Morell Pre-University Institute will host the political event to celebrate Teachers’ Day
Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 17th.- Teachers’ Day, which began on November 16, will take place until December 22, and includes a broad program of activities to honor teachers.
Ángela García Fernández, institutional communicator for the Municipal Education Directorate in Camagüey, said that among the initiatives are special morning papers, publications of the best teaching experiences during the year on the sector’s digital platforms, and activities organized in each of the schools.
Likewise, an intergenerational meeting was held at the Nicolás Guillén Pedagogical School where retired professionals, teachers in training, and recent graduates shared their experiences.
Visits are also made to the homes of internationalist teachers and congratulatory messages are brought to the families of those who are currently on mission.
The cultural gala is being held this afternoon at the José Marín Varona Concert Hall, and on the 19th the Álvaro Morell Pre-University Institute will host the political event to celebrate Teachers’ Day.
