Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 3th.- The Research Subdirectorate of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey (OHCC) calls on young people between 18 and 25 years of age interested in Archaeology to enroll in this specialty taught at the institution’s Trade School.

Those who enter will be hired for a period of two years as qualified operators and will receive a stipend of two thousand 200 pesos, in addition to their comprehensive training in fundamental theoretical and practical disciplines.

To study the specialty of Archaeology at the Francisco Sánchez Betancourt School of Trades, it is necessary to be physically and mentally fit for field and laboratory work.

As part of the preparation, the continuation of university studies in the Bachelor’s Degree in Heritage Management is encouraged, in the modality of Course by meetings, while they can work as technicians of the Archaeology Cabinet in the city.
