Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 26th.- The organic process of the XIII Congress of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) concluded satisfactorily at the grassroots level in the province.
In the territory, the 248 general assemblies of cooperatives were held as planned with the participation of more than 27 thousand associates, a figure that exceeds 90 percent of attendance.
In these meetings, more than 2,700 proposals were made for pre-candidates to integrate the Municipal, Provincial and National Committees of the peasant organization.
Among the main concerns raised by small farmers are banking, the need for fuel to undertake their tasks and the non-payment of productions by various entities.
