Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 25th.- At the Café Literario La Comarca, headquarters of the Provincial Sociocultural Project Golpe a Golpe, artists and writers from the country met to remember Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz from the very beginning.

The music of the troubadours Ariel Barreiro and Reinaldo Rodríguez, together with the poetic work of Mariela Pérez-Castro and Alejandro González, served to remember the universal legacy of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution and his promotion of culture in its broadest sense.

The event served as a prelude to the activities of the XXX edition of the Emilio Ballagas National Prize, whose inauguration is scheduled for the evening of November 25 with a program that highlights the work of the writer from Camagüey.

The event, which this year convened in the section of texts for children, will reach different spaces with readings and exchanges that enrich the heritage of the cradle of Cuban literature.
