Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 11th.- The municipal leadership of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) is immersed in the process of the XIII Congress of the organization, which will take place in May of next year.
Damiurka Rodríguez, its president in the city of Camagüey, said that the base assemblies where the 25 credit and service cooperatives and agricultural production cooperatives made their assessment have already concluded.
In these meetings, the pre-candidates for delegates to the important peasant event and members of the local, provincial and national committees of ANAP were also elected.
The XIII Congress of the National Association of Small Farmers in the capital of Camagüey will be the first to be held in the province on December 21.
