Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 8th.- The capital of the country will host the 9th General Assembly of the National Association of the Blind (ANCI) from November 27 to 30.
Camagüey will be represented by 16 delegates, several of them with participation in previous meetings of this type, in addition to an extensive career in the province as leaders of the organization.
Leonel Margenat Guerrero, president of the Provincial Council of ANCI, said that one of the most important points of the upcoming assembly will be to draw up the guidelines for the work to be carried out in the 2025-2029 period.
He also pointed out that the results of the last five years will be analyzed, and based on this, proposals for improvement will be presented, while strategic plans for the next stage will be drawn up.

Likewise, the moment will be propitious for the debate on improvements that comply with the provisions of the United Nations Convention on the rights of people with disabilities in an efficient manner, to continue taking steps towards inclusion.
