The Railway Museum is planning the development of the day of celebrations for the 188th anniversary of the railway, to be commemorated on November 18
Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 28th.- The Camagüey Railway Museum celebrates its inclusion in the Latin American Network of Railway Museums, an association that seeks to create a community of cultural spaces and reference sites with railway tradition throughout the area.
At this time, the Camagüey institution, together with other countries that are part of this network in Latin America, are working on preparing to preserve all the railway industrial heritage in Cuba.
These joint efforts allow all the historical elements that are part of the vast railway tradition in Cuba to be taken to other settings, as it is one of the pioneering nations in America to have rail transport.
Likewise, the Railway Museum of this city is planning the development of the day of celebrations for the 188th anniversary of the railway, to be commemorated on November 18.
