Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 25th.- The Jesús Suárez Gayol Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA), from the municipality of Camagüey, is currently undergoing a clear process of recovery of livestock, its main line of business.
Omar Hernández Díaz, president of the CPA, said that in response to the call of the national leadership of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP), the members strive every day to increase the contribution of food.
He also specified that among the measures aimed at achieving this commitment are to grow with the females, achieve more than five liters of milk per cow and improve reproduction.
In search of better results, the men and women of the local peasant base also venture into various crops such as root vegetables, vegetables and grains, in order to contribute even more to food sovereignty.
