Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 24th.- The first process of rendering accountability of the delegate to his electors, corresponding to the 18th term of office, entered the municipality in its second month with 64 percent of the meetings held.

Throughout the city, dozens of meetings take place every afternoon and night in which open debate takes center stage in order, with the participation of the neighbors, to find a solution to the multiple problems present today in neighborhoods and communities.

The popular will to assume such an endeavor is reflected in the fact that to date, 70% of the population’s proposals have to do with agreements aimed at facing and resolving issues specific to each locality.

Community support, through commissions created by residents in the different districts, has tasks related to environmental sanitation and dealing with social indiscipline, among other issues.
