Camagüey, Cuba, Sep 12th.- The Assembly of Associates, corresponding to this month, of the Cándido González Morales Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS), took place in the capital of Camagüey with good attendance, organization and quality.

At the meeting, the Board of Directors reported on the work carried out after the strengthening process, where the results of the work were analyzed and new goals were set that will allow them to improve the indicators.

Presenting the report, Osmara Fidalgo Porrata, its president, said that so far all of the year’s commitments have been met, except for cheese making due to a lack of inputs such as salt and cutting agents.

With the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Raudel Fabrega, head of Public Security at the headquarters of the National Revolutionary Police in the province of Camagüey, assessed the crime situation, with a call to join forces to counter this scourge.

The members of the peasant base declared themselves in favor of making more efforts each day to increase food production, although they stressed the need for transportation and an area for collective use.

At its September associate meeting, CCS Cándido González elected the pre-candidates for members of the municipal, provincial and national committees of the National Association of Small Farmers already delegated to Congress, in addition to those who will attend the territorial assembly prior to the national meeting.
