Camagüey, Cuba, Sep 5th.- With an eye on the XIII Congress, scheduled for May of next year, the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) in the municipality evaluated important issues in its meeting this month with the presidents of cooperatives.
The meeting discussed the process of contracting productions for 2025, which requires reconciliation with the Land Registry on the real potential of each production base and its associates and the certification of herd movement.
When evaluating the issue of crime, Lieutenant Colonel Raudel Fábrega Pérez, head of Public Security of the National Revolutionary Police in the province, called for strengthening surveillance and having a corps of auxiliaries in the peasant sector.
Other topics discussed were contributions to Congress, banking, compliance with production and the implementation of the project Strengthening productive capacities in two cooperatives in the territory by the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz .
Yunior Muchulí Fernández, an official from the ANAP national leadership, clarified several concerns of those attending the meeting and reviewed the organization’s priorities in the territory leading up to its XIII Congress.
