Summer workshops do not stop in Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, August 7th.- This Wednesday, August 7, the first meeting corresponding to the month of August of the summer workshop on Archeology and conservation of heritage assets will take place, developed by the Research Subdirectorate of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey (OHCC).

The activity -led by specialists in the area of Archeology- has the task of allowing the children who participate in the project to put into practice the knowledge acquired at the beginning of the workshop.

On this occasion they will be able to experiment with tools typical of an excavation such as working with the different strata of the soil and finding small pieces through working with an archaeodrome.

In a didactic way, the specialists bring the children the main elements to carry out an archaeological intervention and the subsequent work that is carried out with the material found.
