Camagüey, Cuba, July 30th.- José Manuel Marrero Ricardo is considered one of the outstanding farmers of the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Credit and Services Cooperative (CSS), located in the capital of Camagüey.

His La Melisa farm has half a caballeria of land, dedicated entirely to various crops with a predominance of cassava and donkey plantain, as well as other varieties such as coconut and avocado.

During the first semester of this calendar, the small farmer harvested more than 200 quintals of bananas and stated that there will be no difficulties in fulfilling the commitment for the year.

He assured, at the same time, that in the month of December he must contribute without anything that prevents him from doing so, the more than one hundred quintals of cassava planned for the population and Public Health centers.
