Camagüey, Cuba, July 22th.- The Camagüey Railway Museum continues the development of its extensive program of activities for this summer, which includes guided tours and the celebration of dates such as Children’s Day, this July 21.
During the Sunday day, the children celebrated with games in the institution’s Steam Plaza, where they also learned about the origin and characteristics of the locomotives on display.
Among the summer proposals of the center -belonging to the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey- are the tours available to all families.
It includes a visit to the facilities and its surroundings, a dialogue about the history of the Plaza de Vapor and the San José Station, the first in the city, to conclude with a trip on the train to the Camilo Cienfuegos Amusement Park. reported María Cristina Portuondo Méndez, director of the Railway Museum.
