Camagüey, Cuba, July 19th.- The event for the fifth anniversary of the constitution of the Electoral Councils was held at the Santa Cecilia Convention Center, located in the epicenter of the princely city.
Edismeyda Pérez Cardoso, president of that body in the territory, received special recognition on behalf of the Municipal Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Assembly of People’s Power and the Administration Council.
Pérez Cardoso then gave a brief account of the extensive work carried out by this team during these five years, characterized by transparency, impartiality and legality.
A large group of men and women with an uninterrupted career in the service of the Cuban Electoral System with outstanding results were also encouraged.
