Camagüey, Cuba, July 6th.- A rigorous check on food production was carried out here by the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba and the Government with members of the Agricultural System.
The territory complies 101 percent with the meat delivery contract at the end of the first semester, with nearly 200 tons, although 12 production bases did not contribute what was agreed.
With respect to various crops, just over 13 thousand tons were contracted, 54% of the plan; While 85% of the milk has been agreed, that is, about six and a half million liters.
Regarding the spring planting campaign, 2,166 hectares of different crops have been planted so far, a volume above what was planned for the stage.
At the event, training was given on the directives of the Economy Plan for 2025, which includes the implementation of a group of actions in search of better results on all fronts.
