Camagüey, Cuba, July 4th.- The Railway Museum of the city of Camagüey has various proposals for the summer stage that will begin this Saturday, July 6, and Camagüey families, as well as visitors from other territories, will be able to participate.
One of the main attractions of the summer at the institution will be the El Ferrocarril, my city and its traditions workshop in which children will learn to make ceramic figures. Horne Boulevard, on July 10 and 24, and August 7 and 8.
The summer space of the Railway Museum will feature the participation of the artisan Vladimir Mejías Vázquez and the children will mold ceramic figures with allegorical themes of the railway.
On July 21, Children’s Day, the activity Let’s Play will take place in the steam area, an outdoor segment of the building where children will have the opportunity to climb on the exposed locomotives and interact through traditional games throughout the building. area, reported María Cristina Portuondo Méndez, director of the Railway Museum.
For the last days of August, the institution is preparing a chalk painting in the cultural area they own, right where the sculpture paying tribute to the linemen is located, with the theme Painting my dream locomotive.
