Camagüey, Cuba, June 26th.- Nothing stops the workers of the Amalia Simoni Organopónico, in the capital of Camagüey , because they face each day with great impetus to resolve any obstacle and produce food.
This was stated by Pedro Enrique Hernández Ricardo, administrator of that unit, whose group strives daily to overcome resource limitations and the lack of electricity.
He specified that such performance allowed them to market until the end of May more than 10 tons of different vegetables such as chard, carrot, lettuce and tomato, mainly.
Likewise, and taking into account the lack of some important inputs, during this period they also dedicated themselves to producing the seeds they need to not interrupt the production process.
Exceeding 24 tons of legumes is the main commitment of the Amalia Simoni Organopónico workers in the current calendar.
