Camagüey, Cuba, June 24th.- Several actions are currently being undertaken in the municipality of Camagüey with the purpose of increasing the comprehensive results of the Maternal and Child Care Program (PAMI) every day.
The Public Health directorate in the territory specifies that this front shows stability in the past months of the current calendar, although it is still far from what is required.
In this sense, the repair of the Puerto Príncipe Maternal Home was completed, with a capacity of 15 beds, while the Celia Sánchez and the Concha Agramonte will be completed in the third quarter of this year.
All of these centers are linked to productive bases and pregnant women to the Family Care System, while the Government’s leadership prioritizes the sale of food modules to pregnant women at high nutritional risk.
