Camagüey, Cuba, June 21th.- A few days before the official start of the summer stage, the Municipal Committee of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) analyzed the main actions that will be carried out in the territory.

Yoandrys Ruiz Villalón, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in the capital of Camagüey, indicated achieving the quality and compliance of the planned activities, in addition to reinforcing the presence in the communities so that the period responds to the socioeconomic reality of the nation.

With the slogan Summer Mode, the accumulation of activities is expected to begin next Saturday, June 29, with the neighborhoods and recreational centers as the epicenters of the celebrations, with options for all age groups.

Juan Carlos Blanco Lores, head of the organization in the municipality of Camagüey, commented as some of the proposals: recreational fairs, summer camps, Children’s and Youth Day celebrations, camping trips, screenings of multi-sports events, the Political Song Festival and the holding of green week during the month of August.

Several of those attending the UJC plenary session in the region expressed the need to take into account the demands of the new generations in order to satisfy their tastes, in addition to promoting the talent that exists in the communities and in the organization’s own quarries.
