In the municipality of Camagüey, work is being done on the recovery and consolidation of the productive poles, which will increase food production, mainly of vegetables, grains and fruit trees
Camagüey, Cuba, June 19th.- The spring planting campaign, which began in March, is progressing satisfactorily in this municipality even with resource limitations.
According to analyzes carried out by the Council of Administration in the territory, until the end of May, around 1,100 hectares were planted, a volume above what was projected.
However, it is planned to increase the planting of vegetables in the different organoponic areas of the district and increase them in patios and plots.
Although the campaign is carried out in terms of food, it is necessary to complete the hectares of banana and cassava for every thousand inhabitants, with the use of the lands that are in preparation.
