Sierra de Cubitas, Cuba, Jun 2nd.- On International Children’s Day, the sixth grade pioneer, Dayelis Manresa Vega, from the Forjadores del Futuro semi-boarding school in Sierra de Cubitas, raised her voice in the Agramontine Tribune of Revolutionary Reaffirmation of the municipality, demonstrating against the blockade imposed on Cuba and in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

In this way, with the participation of representatives from all sectors of society, especially the new generations, the commitment to the future of socialism was reaffirmed once again, as expressed by Yudiana Torres Mora of the Secondary Education Student Federation, during his intervention.

Accompanied by the main political and government authorities of Camagüey, the inhabitants of Cubitas presented the reasons to continue promoting essential programs in the country with emphasis on food production.

The young doctor Gretel Vázquez Mora and the member of the Central Secretariat of Workers of Cuba in the municipality Yamilet Fabelo Armas, defended the symbolism of the concentration and described it as a scenario that reflects the spirit of facing challenges, improving oneself and increasing efficiency in all areas, as worthy successors of the Cuban revolutionary process.

At the event, Federico Hernández Hernández, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Camagüey, congratulated the organizers for this demonstration of support from the people of Cuba to the Revolution and highlighted the local artistic talent, which embodies one of José Martí’s maxims: «Children are the hope of the world».
