Camagüey, Cuba, May 27th.- The solution to the voters’ proposals, both in the accountability processes and by offices, does not reach the required levels in this municipality despite the follow-up given by the Administration Council.

The above was demonstrated in the most recent ordinary session of the Assembly of People’s Power in the territory when evaluating in detail the behavior of this indicator, that of the 17th mandate only 68 percent were resolved and 45 percent of the 17th mandate.

This means that in the capital of Camagüey there are still more than 6,500 concerns of the population related to Communal Services, Aqueduct and Sanitation, the Electric Company, Transportation and Housing, among other entities, to be remedied.

The greatest number of dissatisfactions have to do with the repair of roads, leaks, obstructions, the rehabilitation of hydraulic networks, the reestablishment of bus routes and the maintenance and waterproofing of multi-family buildings and quarters.

To achieve greater progress in solving the issues in the princely city, greater demands are required from the directors of entities and that the secretariats of the Assembly and the Council of Administration strengthen their ties in that sense.
