Camagüey, Cuba, May 23th.- The Mártires de Pino Tres Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS), of this municipality, had a meritorious job during 2023, which earned it the status of National Vanguard.

This peasant base, headed by Antonio Padrón Reyes, delivered to the industry last year 210 thousand liters of milk and more than two thousand 100 quintals of food, vegetables and grains; in addition to 31 tons of beef.

Aware of how essential the provision of food is in the difficult times that the country is experiencing, those associated with this productive base strive to, even in the midst of resource limitations, fulfill their state mandate.

Among the 76 members of the collective, men and women stand out, both in the livestock sector and in various crops, among them Rafael Martínez Gómez, Fidel Usatorre Membrive and Carmen Artiles Umpierre.

Motivated by receiving the certificate that accredits them as National Vanguard, the small farmers of the CCS Mártires de Pino Tres ratified the commitment to work harder to increase productive volumes.
