The work of female leaders stands out in Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, May 21th.- Enelia González Gómez is a Camagüey-born woman completely dedicated to her work, the results of which were sufficient for her to be selected as an outstanding leader of the Government in this municipality.

She has been serving for almost three years as professional president of the Permanent Commission of the Assembly of People’s Power in the territory that serves the Agri-Food Sphere.

His responsibility at the head of this portfolio is very broad: he has to carry out a permanent check of the productive bases and coordinate with them different activities and compliance with the measures emanating from the ordering task.

Likewise, it carries out controls and inspections on the implementation of the economic strategy for food sovereignty and follows up with the state on pending solutions related to Agriculture.

It also participates in meetings of the Administration Council and popular councils where issues related to food production are analyzed and ensures the efficient use of credits requested by entities with economic problems.

At the same time, it has the mission of keeping the president of the highest Local Government body informed about the fulfillment of the different tasks entrusted to the team she leads.
