Camagüey, Cuba, May 21th.- The first stage of the balance process at the grassroots level of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC) ended in this municipality with positive results.

Nearly seven thousand members participated in the 315 organizations in the territory, grouped into the different categories of combatants of the Rebel Army, the underground, the fight against bandits, internationalists, and health and education workers.

Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Fidel Miguel Negrín Ruiz, president of the Association in the Camagüey capital, highlighted to CMHC Radio Camagüey the quality of the delegates’ statements during the development of the different assemblies.

The second stage of the ACRC assessment process will continue next June with conferences in the four districts into which the municipality of Camagüey is divided.
