Camagüey, Cuba, May 18.- The coincidence of two important world days in the health field motivated the exchange in the community of health specialists and promoters.

Regarding High Blood Pressure Day, workers from the municipal directorates of Hygiene and Epidemiology, and the ProSalud Camagüey team arrived at the Territorial Division of ETECSA where health information was exchanged, rapid response kits were applied and educational materials were donated for the medical center of that institution.

Dra. Elizabeth de Quesada Rodríguez, head of the Non-communicable Chronic Diseases Program, explained that there is a high prevalence of hypertension in the country, which is a risk factor for other diseases such as heart and cerebrovascular diseases.
