In the capital of Camagüey, efforts are being made to increase the results of organic crops and achieve a greater diversity of fresh vegetables and condiments

Camagüey, Cuba, May 4th.- As part of the actions to comply with Law 148 on Food Sovereignty and Food and Nutritional Security, several tasks are undertaken in this municipality of Camagüey.
The Delegation of Agriculture in the territory is working on the consolidation of new productive centers such as El Coral and Santa Teresa, in addition to the recovery of Santa Rita and Las Victorias.
Work is being done on the creation of heifer development centers, as a measure to guarantee the reproduction and improvement of the livestock mass with the gestation of females for milk production.
An awakening can be seen in the 13 existing mini-industries in the territory, dedicated to the production of preserves and pastes of fruits and vegetables, condiments, syrup, pickles and meat and dairy products, among others.
