Camagüey, Cuba, May 3th.- The Art for Mom Fair, which has the support of the local branch of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets, takes place in this city until May 11 and will have more than 33 national exhibitors participating in the event.

According to Belkis Cruz Zaragoza, director of the institution, the inhabitants of Camagüey will have the opportunity to buy gifts with cultural and practical value, including trousseau, footwear, jewelry and saddlery products.

This year, the event increases its number of participants from the non-state sector to 18, focused on the creation of crafts and practical products; It will be open from 10:00 in the morning until 05:00 in the afternoon, and will include two local development projects and 17 artists.

Cruz Zaragoza also mentioned that gastronomic products will be offered in the sales areas, which adds an additional attraction for families who attend.

In collaboration with the Provincial Health Directorate, it is planned to expand the scope of the fair beyond the Fairgrounds to include the Manuel Ramón Silva Nursing Home, where local artisans will participate by bringing decorative and functional items to residents, thus highlighting the value of art community in the region.
