Camagüey, Cuba, January 8th.- The Puerto Príncipe Rum and Wine Factory Base Business Unit of Camagüey closed the calendar with outstanding results, even in the midst of limitations with various resources.
Julio César Filgueiras Pons, a specialist from that entity, explained that they produced nearly 179 thousand boxes of alcoholic beverages, a volume that represents around 40 percent overfulfillment.
The above is equivalent to a commercial production that exceeds 553 million pesos, a figure above that projected, thanks to the efforts made to acquire alcohol, its main raw material.
These results made it possible to sell a bottle twice to the population during the year, benefiting around 203 thousand families in the province.
The group will also guarantee about two thousand boxes of 12 units of Rum 510 for the city’s new anniversary, which will go on sale next February 2.
All the beverages produced by the Port-au-Prince Rum and Wine Factory are bottled using an existing container forming machine in the industry.
