Camagüey, Cuba, January 30th.- With a marked natural and distinctive character, the National Crafts Fair (FENAR) was designed, which from February 1 to 11 returns with its attractions to the former town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe in the 510th birthday of its foundation.
The participation of creators from ten Cuban provinces and nations such as Peru, Mexico, Panama and Russia is expected, who will arrive with metalwork products, footwear, costume jewelry, various ceramics, textiles, furniture and ornamental plants, among other proposals.
The activity, which will once again host the Fairgrounds of the city of Camagüey, will promote the exhibition of crafts and plastic arts, the presentation of new products, business rounds with the business sector and new forms of non-state management, and fashion shows.
Local and visitor projects will come together during the different days to share knowledge about the inking technique, clay work, the use of recycled materials, the live work of young visual artists, the making of personalized pieces and natural cosmetics, for example. just cite some examples.

The organizing committee of FENAR 2024 invited the public to the personal exhibition of the visual artist Martha Jiménez Pérez, La insularidad, Martha y la ciudad, which highlights the passion for her roots, women in all their areas and the magical environment of the fourth Cuban town.
Its inauguration will be at 3:00 in the afternoon on February 5, at the Amalia del Fondo Gallery, located on Avenida de la Libertad No.112, between Sifontes and Arrieta, in the La Caridad neighborhood.
