Camagüey: Chair of the Elderly acts for the well-being of the elderly

Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 20th.- With the delivery of a donation at the Manuel Ramón Silva y Zayas Nursing Home, in the district, the Chair of the Elderly of the Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz University of Camagüey closed this year of work.

In the exchange -led by the directors and managers of the chair Mirtha Yordi, Ana María Ramos and Zhenia Proenza- the inmates of this care institution received clothing, hygiene products and footwear.

The activity was accompanied by collaborators from the center, university students majoring in Sociology, Psychology and Sociocultural Management for Development, professors from the Alma Mater of Camagüey, troubadours and storytellers who enlivened the day.

The Manuel Ramón Silva is one of the most regular settings to deploy the social and educational work of the Chair, with sustained action throughout the year in favor of the care and quality of life of the elderly.
