Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 10th.- The program prior to the Camagua International Folk Dance Festival will open tonight with the opening of the two-person exhibition Gray with black stitching, by the plastic artists Ileana Sánchez and Joel Jover.

At 7:30 pm in the Fidelio Ponce de León gallery, of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey, the public will be able to appreciate the works, a prelude to the event whose official opening will be next December 14, Workers’ Day of the Culture.

At the Festival’s press conference, Ileana Sánchez recounted the ties that unite her and Joel with the world of dance, which they almost joined since they were children, and added that the exhibition constitutes an opportunity to be part of the event created by Fernando Medrano Vireya.

Although they had previously held an exhibition together (Ileana and Joel), he confessed that this is the first with works from each other, since in the previous one the works of both were captured on the same canvas.
